Meet Lisa
Hello!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering individual therapy in Illinois, both in person and virtually.
My path to this work began through my own process of self-discovery and a longing for the kind of support that once felt out of reach for both my community and me. That experience continues to shape the way I sit with others: with curiosity, care, and respect for the complexity of being human.
My work is rooted in existential and psychodynamic therapy. Together, we slow down enough to explore the deeper layers of your experience: the patterns you carry, the relationships that have shaped you, the emotions that feel difficult to name, and the parts of yourself that have learned to stay hidden or protected.
Rather than searching for quick fixes, therapy becomes a space to understand yourself more fully and relate to your inner world with greater compassion and clarity. Over time, this work can help you navigate uncertainty with more steadiness and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
This kind of work unfolds over time and asks for honesty, openness, and patience.
Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable. You do not need a perfectly defined reason to begin. Sometimes it starts with a quiet sense that something within you is asking for attention.
If you’re feeling that pull, you’re welcome to reach out.

Clients often come in used to handling things on their own.
In our work, you don’t have to perform, rush, or have everything figured out.
I offer a space that is:
Thoughtful and collaborative
Grounded, but not rigid
Open to complexity, without becoming overwhelming
I won’t push you toward answers before you’re ready.
But I will stay with you as we begin to make sense of what’s there—at a pace that feels both steady and meaningful. -
I work with adolescents (16+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, internal overwhelm, life transitions, identity shifts, and seasons of feeling “in-between” and searching for clarity.
Many of the people I work with aren’t simply looking to cope, but to better understand themselves and their experiences.

I believe every person has a story worthy of being heard and held with care. Beneath many of our struggles is a longing to feel connected — to ourselves, to others, and to a sense of belonging.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that change is possible. Through reflection, curiosity, and compassionate support, therapy can become a space to feel more grounded, more authentic, and more connected to the life you want to create.
